I don't always post everything I draw in my Bible because I am usually in the middle of studying and I forget about it later...and too, I never feel finished with them, I want to do more...eventually.
Anyway, here are a few I have done lately:
Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: he has risen:
Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
Unfortunately I had to draw this one on the opposite page because the margin right next to the actual scripture was already all used up :-( I hate that... that's why I try not to use the whole margin for just one thought. I try to keep them contained to the area of the scripture I want to represent.
Proverbs 30:24-25
"Four things on earth are small,
yet they are extremely wise:
Ants are creatures of little strength,
yet they store up their food in the summer;
The first one was not an original idea, I just saw it on Pinterest and thought it was clever... I don't know the original artist, sorry... it wasn't from another Bible Journaler though. The rest I just googled to find pictures that would fit the scripture. And yes, I did indeed use my Osmo for every one of these. I LOVE THAT THING! It isn't great for small pictures like these ended up being, it really is better the larger you can draw, like onto a regular sheet of paper. But, it is really great for getting the outside lines so everything is proportionate. Of course, I still need to add the inside lines and the color so it doesn't "do everything for you". For me, coloring is always the hardest part of anything I draw.
