This particular challenge is taking me much longer to accomplished than I expected. When I started the plan was to draw one picture on each page of the 52 pages of my Bible Art Journal, one for each week. .... But, how do you do that?! Everything is a picture for me. Now, I suspect that will probably change, but, in the meantime, I'm not moving too fast!
I guess you can probably tell this is about Moses, up through the plagues, or the first 12 chapters of Exodus. It is on 1/2 of a 5.5" x 8.5" page... So this part is actually only about 4.25"x 5.5".
Blessings to you Nancy! I happened upon your site as I was checking up on some of the things my 11 year old daughter was pinning on her Pinterest account. (She's a little too smart for her own good and figured out how to create her own account.) Anyway, she loves to draw and doodle and has pinned several of your drawings. Thank you for inspiring her as an artist and as a Christian. I also have been browsing your site and love the idea of a Bible Art Journal. I might add this idea to our homeschool curriculum. My daughter will love us both for it. Blessings as you continue your ministry through drawings!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS!!! Anonymous, you have made my year! This just makes everything in my heart happy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that your 11 year old loves the Lord and that you guys might doodle the Bible as part of your curriculum! It is probably the coolest thing I have ever done because the more you meditate on the Word (what to doodle) the more the Lord reveals! I wish you weren't Anonymous, I wish you lived close by, I would love to come play with you guys! A 60 year old and an 11 year old can play together and have fun right?
DeleteAgain, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for your sweet words. GOD IS JUST SO COOL!!! He knows just when encouragement is necessary, right? I keep drifting off topic, it is getting close to craft show time so I have been playing around with what to sell, maybe I need to get back on track for a while! Listen, if you stop back by please let me know who you are, I would love to "meet" you!
